Pros: Great specs for a starter pc.
    Nice slim case
Beautiful RGB Cons: My only issue would be that the build only comes with one output fan, i can run games like GTA on full settings perfectly but the CPU temp does go up a bit more than Id like. Overall Review: Amazing PC in my opinion, this is my first ever pc and I dont regret it one bit, i purchased extra fans to install so after that i shouldnt have any worries. Definitely recommend!

Pros: CPU/GPU Cons: Cooling Overall Review: TLDR: Great rig for the price, minimalist gaming PC but passable, HORRIBLE cooling that has to be addressed
    Positives:
    ———-
    CPU – Ryzen 7 5000 Series 5800X (3.80 GHz)
    – as advertised
GPU – ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
    – as advertised
    Passable:
    ———-
    Mobo – ASUS G15DK (AM4)
    – bare bones, no bells and whistles but does what it needs to do
    – can slot another NVMe but would need to remove WiFi card (not an issue for me as I am wired)
    – zero information available about this Mobo at ASUS or anywhere else on net closest I could find was ASUS PRIME B550M-K AM4
    SSD – Western Digital NVMe 1TB – WDC PC SN530 SDBPNPZ-1T00-1002 (SSD)
    – Mid-Range – good enough for my needs, your mileage may vary
    PSU – its bronze 80
    – comes with modular cables that can be added to PSU (SATA, Molex and 6 pin power)
    – has had no issues powering the rig so far
    Keyboard/Mouse – basic
    – will allow you to operate the computer – who is using these anyway?
    Could be better:
    —————-
    RAM – Hynix 3200 DDR4
    – (CL) 22, (tRCD) 22, (tRP) 22, (tRAS) 52, (tRC) 74
    – you will most likely end up upgrading this as I will be
    Case – ROG
    – its OK to look at, nice little LED strip on front and inside with nice effect options
    – GPU is supported in front by a bracket which is nice
    – has no rack/mounting options for additional SSD/HDD
    – has room at bottom of case to store HDD/SSD but they just kinda hang out down there
    – no proper way to add additional fans (major con of this rig – see below)
    – case cannot house beefy air cooler (ex. a Hyper 212 would not fit due to how thin the case is)
    – cramped – doing anything in this case is difficult
    – esoterically secured compartments (PSU, GPU and CPU/RAM all separated by metal “shields”)
    – power button placement is not ideal (front of case) and accidentally hit the button several times
    Cons:
    —–
Cooling – (you will DEFINITELY have to address this)
    – out of the box, rig runs HOT
    – Only one 92mm exhaust fan at back of case
    – Air Cooled CPU (not an issue for me but heatsink is jank)
    – no proper way to add additional fans to the case
    Addressing Heat issue:
I added two 120mm fans, two 92mm fans and one 80mm fan which brought the temps into bearable ranges.
There is room at the front of case for a 120mm and 92mm intake fans – the 120 in front of GPU, the 92 in front of RAM/CPU. There would have been room for a second 120 in front of CPU but a plastic tab which secures the front of the case gets on the way. Removing the metal compartment “shields” may expand your fan options but the securing points of these compartments are not immediately obvious.
There is room for a 120mm and a 92mm fan on top of case (exhaust). You could put two 120mm fans at the top but this would require you covering part of the rear LED strip. A 92mm fan at top is needed if you do not want to cover the LED strip due to a plastic tab which secures the top of the case.
The rear of the case you can fit an 80mm fan (exhaust) below the GPU, in front of the expansion slot openings.
You could use 4pin fans and a fan hub and control the speed of the fans or use 3/4pin fans and a SATA/Molex to fan power adapter if you don’t care to control the speed. You will need to zip tie/velcro the fans in place.
I suggest replacing the heatsink as I will be doing in the near future. You will need to use a low profile heatsink if going air cooled, or figure a way to mount the radiator if going liquid (which would limit options for intake.exhaust fans). I plan on using the Nocutua NH-C14S or NH-L12Sair cooler.
    Conclusion:
Had about a week now, runs great and overall pleased with my purchase so far. If you are looking for a minimalist gaming PC at a good price and overall acceptable components and are able/willing to address the cooling issues then this would suit you.

Pros: It looks good and shows off like a pro. Carry handle is a nose touch. Cons: The front part of case trying to get it off is a pain and nerve wrecking because you could break off some of the tabs, then your case is useless. No filters in case, one small fan to cool a high speed graphic card and strong cpu. Cant really take off top of case to mount any top fans. Overall Review: Really cool design and if didnt want to upgrade then this is a nice pc. Just wish you could have more protection from dust and maybe be able to add more cooling if wanted to like bracket. All in all nice window case with the logo and some rgb is a a good looking view. Runs a bit warm on high end games but can handle it, just want to keep the parts for longer use and with it running high inside the parts might not last as long as like.

  4. Mark

    Pros: -Runs Fast
    -Ryzen 7
    -RTX 3070
-Looks cool Cons: -Runs hot under load 84 Celsius (Added Fans)
-Bios Fan Tuning could be smoother (Fans get loud over 55%)
-Small Case (No room for expansion/customization) Overall Review: I gave the product 4 eggs because for the price of the PC it could include a few extra fans. I purchased 3 cooler master fans $9.99 each which dropped the temperature from 84 Celsius under load to 66 Celsius which is more like it. Overall screaming fast rig does everything I want and more.

  5. Faded Gaming

Pros: Great value for the cost
Case looks great and setup was super easy
    RTX 3070!!!
Runs basically anything you throw at it with ease whether it be 1080, 1440, or 4k Cons: Has some downfalls where they cut corners to save cost
Case is small and is hard to get the panels off of, other than main panel.
Micro ATX mobo, only has 3 fan headers so if you need to add more fans (which is a MUST for this machine!!!) you’ll have to get a fan hub/splitters, or run some fans off the PSU using Molex.
Machine runs hot due to poor cooling design. Dont let that dissuade your purchase though, as thats a cheap and easy fix.
RAM sticks in this machine are pretty garbage (they dont even have heat shrouds…) with timings of 21,21,54,74. Not a must upgrade immediately, but going to be one of my first upgrades for sure. Though i will say atleast it is dual channel! Overall Review: A great purchase for this price point as, for the same price, you are only going to be getting an i7 processor from a lesser known brand like ABS. So to get a 3070 with a Ryzen 7 5000 series CPU for under $2k really is quite the feat nowadays. I bought this and have zero regrets!

Pros: Does come with a keyboard and mouse. Cons: Cooling fan is louder than I expected, especially being new Overall Review: < 1 week of use, will update later.
Overall sturdy construction, nice design. Not much to look at through the side panel. But having only ever had solid boxes its not bad.
System initial boot had no issues. Wasnt a long setup and immediately gave the option for and began the download of Windows 11.
Havent had any issues with speeds yet, though really havent taxed it either.
The built in 5G WiFi works great and the downloads and installs of software go quickly.
Handled dual monitor without any issues.
    After about a month:
I have been using Blender with 3 monitors and playing simulation games. I havent had a problem with dropped frame rate or lag but I am not running a tracker for exact numbers either. To my eye, the system runs fine.
    Issues I do have:
Cooling fan volume. Its not broken, just loud. (Replaceable down the road)
From what I can see, the GPU is blocking expansion (PCIe & M.2) on the Mini ATX (?) and the board itself doesnt actually reach the remaining expansion bays on the back of the tower (see pictures)
The LED lighting isnt a big deal to me, but I cant seem to control it with the software and internally it is only on the top and front of the case casting inwards, theres a thin line on the GPU and the front of the case has an angled line also.
I had it say USB Power Surge once on the monitor when I had plugged a joystick into the front port. Im willing to say it was the Joystick though, I dont know.
As for performance its not a $40,000 computer but for the price it does what I wanted. Theres no issues while modeling/shading etc in Blender. The render times are acceptable so far, but I havent done anything extensive. I was hoping to put another GPU in down the road but it does NOT look like thats an option due to expansion limitations. My previous computers have some years on them and this is definitely a step up in speed & stability. I purchased a 4K monitor and the graphics are very clean. I think the largest problem Ill have is internal upgrades. It looks like at least a larger board for starters. If youre just wanting to game on it though and have no intentions of messing with internals its not bad.
Probably be my final review unless something major happens with it.

  8. Godel

Pros: Pretty good bang for your buck with this one. It’s a prebuilt, so if you’re just looking to get up and running fast with a pretty decent system, this is one way to go.
Out of the box without any special configurations, it’s able to run several of the games I play at over 200FPS on max settings no problem. Cons: At the end of the day, this is a prebuilt. You should take it at face value, don’t assume, “Oh, I can add X Y and Z to it later.” Not really. It’s very limited to what you can do at first this was really offputting, but after having it for around a week, I’ve decided maybe this was just what I was used to from the prior 3 computers I’ve built, being able to customize everything that is.
Some of these customization limitations are:
-Limited expansion slots/headers on motherboard: You can’t really add any expansion cards because of this, and fan expansions will need splitters or a hub.
-Case internals: Two gripes here, there’s not really anywhere to mount fans (it’s going to be a zip-tie job if you want to do this, most likely; it looks like maybe there is a place to mount one in the front of the case), and there is only a single 3.5″ drive bay. If you want to add more drives, you’d need to come up with your own solution for mounting these.
Now these are just cons if you like to tinker and tweak with your computer a bit.
The most serious shortcoming I found this prebuilt to have is cooling and ventilation.
-The CPU cooker isn’t too bad, but considering it’s got a Ryzen 7 5800X under the hood, it’s prone to run HOT, means this fan is going to run a lot and loudly under CPU load.
-The chassis has to be the worst I’ve heard in my life. At minimum duty, this fan has an awful growl. This is the first thing I’m replacing in this pc.
-While I mentioned this above, I think it’s a noteworthy shortcoming to only have a single 92mm exhaust case fan. There appear to be two places to mount a fan to the front — could have at least put something in 1 of them. Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new modern PC at a moderate cost without the effort/research/experience needed to build their own. If you don’t want to have to tweak with anything, I think this system is pretty close to as good as you’re going to get at this price minus the horrific chassis fan installed on the back. If there is one thing I would want ASUS to change on this, it’s that. The chassis fan, and maybe add at least 1 intake fan.
Would I buy it again? I guess this has been a new experience for me since I have built almost every PC I’ve owned in my life up until now (first one in 2005, a new one every 5-6 years). There were many points where I was like “ah this is nice to not have to worry about this,” and then other points where I was clearly like “:| why is this case/motherboard so limited”. YMMV
2 Week edit: I got a new fan in and changing it has been such a game changer. I didn’t realize just how bad the rear exhaust fan was bothering me until I put in a much quieter on.
Asus: look at the reviews on this product. Almost ever reviewer mentions noise. The rear fan is horrible, put in something better. It really does turn this product use experience from a 5 star experience to a 2-3 star experience on its own, for something I swapped out and fixed for a mere $10.
