This works very nicely with my PC and the product is really good, it is ASUS so obv it’s good quality but there is one VERY IMPORTANT things to know…
It does NOT come with thermal paste!!!
Most motherboards don’t anyway, but just a reminder 🙂

A well-designed motherboard by a company I’ve had good experiences with – but not this time.
Not long after completing the build, the mouse and kb usb ports failed. Then 2 more ports. And now the NIC port is failing. Red light stays on. It works most of the time, but stops randomly for a while.
I contacted ASUS Support. They said they would replace it and would be in touch to arrange it, but never have. They’re lost a long-term customer.

I originally bought this motherboard as part of my first build with and 12400f and a 4060. The board boasts a lot of features for it’s price point (on sale), such as having four PCIe slots to work with. It’s good quality for a great price. There’s only one exception which is that I found the the Crashfree BIOS 3 system to recover your motherboard didn’t work for me, so I ended up having to switch.

Easy to put together, the (mATX) mobo compact but easy to work but all the bits snap in and seat well.
yeah i5-14500 … “but 15gen about to release” … and then what, wait 6 months for price to become reasonable … bleeding edge? nah. And yes read about the intel 13/14th gen issues and the xx500 are right on the edge, not bothered, deeper research suggest it only affects the overclock weenies … as if it’s not fast enough already.
Everything went together well, dropped it in the case (swapping out an older i5-8400 rig), worked right away. (bit of fun moving boot to the M2 drive, but that’s SW, not HW)
Noctua L9x65 “65mm low profile” cooler – works well, rig is running 5 degrees cooler than the 8400 rig which had the baby 37mm noctua L9i-17xx. No case fans (no air-con – ambient temp – tropical).
“low profile” – about the same as intel stock, not “low” profile – I’ll call it “mid” but fits with plenty of room to spare in 4.5 inch tall desktop case. (Some say this model noisy … mines quiet even ad load, boot etc) that’s running without the included “noise suppressor” (for mine seems is just a resistor to reduce power to the fan)
Short version: board – solid, easy to work, reassuring; CPU + mem: doing exactly as/what they’re supposed to do; Cooler – great – puzzle but easy; M2-SSD – perf as advertised.
all up it’s way beyond fast enough not to trigger this 60yo’s impatience.

I’ve been using this motherboard for the past two weeks, and it has proven to be exceptionally stable with a plethora of options. One standout feature is its support for 13th generation processors right out of the box. These LEDs meticulously check the CPU, RAM, GPU, and promptly notify you of any problems. During the process of assembling a new PC from scratch, these LEDs helped me quickly identify faulty memory RAM sticks. Additionally, the BIOS includes a built-in Memory86 test along with numerous other useful features.
In addition, it’s worth noting that according to the CPU, and motherboard manual, a 1000W power supply is recommended for use with a 13th generation CPU. This requirement is consistent across the majority of motherboards available in the market.

Cette carte supporte aussi la 14e génération de Core Intel, pas seulement la 12 et 13e génération. Elle est très complete au niveau des fonctionnalités et des connecteurs en plus très stable. Selon moi, Asus fait les meilleurs carte-mère sur le marché. Facile à comprendre et à configurer, ce qui n’est pas le cas de toutes les compagnies.

Gama media de Asus con muy buenos acabados y buen funcionamiento. No necesitaba que fuese en formato mATX, pero encontré una muy buena oferta y no m lo pensé, tiene para conectar todo lo que necesito, así que en mi caso igual que si fuese ATX. El WIFI no lo uso, pero sí el Bluetooth y va perfecto. Ningún problema en la configuración, actualizar la BIOS y todo fue como la seda.
