I was cruising at breakneck speed down a steep icy hill on a snow sled and launched a good 15 feet and the harness popped off upon impacting the ground. That being said…. the straps are not made of steel or leather, they are elastic… a good elastic, but nevertheless…. you’ll need to understand that the harness is made for action scenarios with movement and whatnot… but there is definitely a breaking point with regards to how much action the headband can take…. .I will say that the headband never detached from my action cam when it popped off my head, so the attachment pieces worked wonderfully, I just don’t think I wrenched the head harness down hard enough for the physical nature of what I was doing. I give this 5 stars even though it came off my head, but that was really my fault… I should have used a helmet to attach the action cam due to the extreme physical abuse my body took while careening uncontrollably down that icy hill. It’s a good product. It is well built, good materials, easy to install the cam and it was comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

I have not worn the harness out in the wild yet but it feels sturdy and reliable. The price is good for the product. It functions as was promised. I’ll be interested to see what’s the video perspective from below my chest.

I got these as a headlight mount option when I’m not wearing a helmet. The price is good. When i got it and opened up the package from Amazon, I was also pleasantly surprised in the quality. I read some reviews that these are small fitting. Since I got a small head, it didn’t really matter and it fits quite nicely. However, I would disagree with some of the reviews that said the straps are hardly adjustable to fit larger heads. There’s a lot of adjustment room to fit a larger head. The reviewers probably don’t know how to adjust the bands or didn’t take the time to re-adjust the band widths – both horizontally and vertically. The silicone grips on the inside are a nice touch but it may create red bands on your forehead like what my leg warmers with silicone grips do on my thighs when they’re on my legs for several hours. The marks on your skin lasts for weeks if not months LOL.
