These are simple kitchen scissors that work fine for basic tasks. They’re lightweight with plastic handles and they cut, but the overall feel is on the lighter side and you can tell the materials aren’t heavy duty.
They get the job done for everyday use, though the blades could be sharper for tougher foods, which would make them a bit more reliable in the kitchen.

These Kitchen Scissors are very solid and honestly better than what I bought from Dollarama, especially since they are fixed and cannot be split (Roma brand). The covers are a nice touch, but I don’t need them as I store them in my kitchen tools set box. They are handy if you need to carry them out to an event or a restaurant. Basically, I tried them with chicken bones, fish bones, and cutting meat, and they have done a great job. So far they are tight and sharp, and I hope they will last a long time, but only time will tell their longevity. Overall, not bad for the price and certainly better than the one bought from Dollarama!
Past Present Future –
This two pack of kitchen shears work well enough and perform as adtervised. They are very cheaply made, but they are sharp. I don’t expect them to hold up for a super long time but they’ve worked ok so far. I like that they both come with protective covers to help keep the blades sharp.
Amazon Customer –
These kitchen scissors have been surprisingly useful, and they feel sturdier than a lot of the budget options I’ve tried before, but still kind of on the cheap-feeling side. Both pairs cut smoothly through everything from herbs to tougher packaging, and the blades stay aligned without wobbling. The handles are soft and comfortable to grip, which makes a big difference when I’m prepping a lot of ingredients or using them with damp hands.
I also like that each pair comes with a protective cover, since it keeps the blades from getting nicked in the drawer and makes them safer to store.
Overall, they’re reliable, easy to use, and a nice upgrade for everyday kitchen tasks.

I’m happy with these so far. They are sharp and cut easily. I do worry that they have an uncanny resemblance to the scissors that I’m replacing, where the handle cracked off. They are definitely not “full tang”, and I can not tell how far the steel extends into the handle. So, are these going to fall apart or will they withstand abuse? Time will tell. For now, they work great.
Past Present Future –
Very nice set of kitchen scissors. I replaced a 30 year old pair and these are night and day better. Very sharp (be careful) and I like the size … I can get a grip on them apply lots of pressure if needed. Cutting through Christmas wrapping paper was a breeze.
They are not designated left or right handed which is great. Very well balanced too.
The steel looks high quality and the plastic handles are fitted very well.
