The puffer vest is in, this one fits the bill. The grey hood contrasts nicely and makes a more casual look. Looks great over a long sleeve in the fall, a hoodie in the winter, or a t shirt on a crisp summer night. You’ll look great in this and your girlfriend will too. Nice pockets, sturdy closure. Great vest, this is perfect for Canada I have been very warm wearing a hoodie and this vest in winter. The hood is removable which is great and I love having side pockets that can zip closed. I ordered XL because of the reviews saying go up a size. I think I would have been ok with Large but if your wearing a sweater or hoodie underneath your good. This is a good product.

I like the look, and the warmth it provides. Clearly, no attempt to keep the garment weight down was made. If you are used to nylon-only puffer vests or jackets that usually weight just a few ounces, you will be in for a surprise. This one is hefty. The hood is good and large to fit over my hat and provide wind protection while walking my dog, and the color is perfect for that as well, keeping me more visible to cars on our sidewalk-less streets.
Not cheap for what it is, but it does exactly what I needed and was worth the purchase.
