Too late for me to return this piece of rubbish, so most I can do is warn others off it. Seems all my life I’ve been buying Timex watches as every-day time pieces. In 2020 I bought this one, just to have around and ready when my old one, now a good ten years old kicked the bucket. Today i thought I’d start using the new one. I took it out of it’s box and pulled the little tab by the crown and the second hand statred moving. Good enough. I wasn’t raedy to use it so pulled the crown out to the position for changing the time and left it there while I spent a good while removing links from the expandinble band so that it would fit. Again, good enough. Now I was ready to start using it. I set the proper time and pushed in the crown. Nothing. I fiddled around pulling the crown out to its time and date setting positions then pushed it back all the way in. Nothing. No hand movement. No “Indiglo”. Well maybe it was the battery; after all it’ had been sitting there in a desk for a couple of years. Popped the back cover, as I have hundreds of times, and checked it. Nope, the barrery is fine. Now a new problem. No matter what I did I could not get the back to pop/snap back on. Again, this is a process I’ve done dozens of times on dozens of watches, but no matter how hard I tried it will not snap back on. So now I have this useless thing sitting in front on me – a watch that wont run with a back that wil not reattach. What ever has happened to a brand that was once both cheap and reliable? Alas, it seems all my purchase has given me is a spare battery. The rest? Well it goes in the garbage. Last Timex I’ll ever buy.

It is exactly as it should be and was the standard for a gentleman’s watch for years. The face is easy to read, the band comfortable, and the light helpful at night. Elegant and not ostentatious.

I had this very watch for over 15 years and it worked fine. One day while working on a car, my wrench slipped and my arm went with it. Sadly the watch didn’t survive that one as the face smashed into a bolt.. I saw one here and ordered it. Now I’m back in business with a new Indiglo watch. Easy to read dial, lights up at night, speed to set date, flexible bracelet. Perfect, you can’t go wrong with this watch.

the watch was perfect for me i fave trouble seeing at night so the face lighting up meant i had no problems reading the time.It also arrived the date quoted which was great,would have no problems dealing with amazon again.
