In my original review I noted that, it does NOT mix well. And, that it seems too sweet. That, the chocolate seems ‘cheap’ – where I’d add some vanilla extract to make it drinkable. That it’s good that it’s grass fed, and good that they only use Stevia, no erythritol, or even sucralose. (Maybe reduce sweetness by 5-10%)

Well, I’ve learned that it doesn’t mix well – in a ‘shaker cup’. However – thru experiment – it mixes quite well using – of all things – a milk frother! (I was too lazy too pull out my personal blender – which would likely blend even better.)

I’ll use more of this product – with the better technique, before I consider making another purchase.

I usually buy Allmax IsoNaturals, but the price has been getting too high and I’m looking to pinch a few pennies. I decided to roll the dice on this one because the price is low and the advertised ingredients list is solid. I didn’t expect it to be great because of the low cost, but I certainly didn’t expect it to be this awful tasting.

Taste

It tastes nothing like chocolate. At all. There is ZERO chance that anyone in a blind taste test would say that this is chocolate. I can’t explain the flavour…yams maybe? Like yams, chalkboard dust and too much sweetener had a threeway, and this was the unholy result.

Mixability

It is very brown in colour when mixed, which is odd since you simply cannot taste any cocoa. I will say that it does mix well in water. It doesn’t foam up. But that doesn’t much matter when I don’t want to drink it anyhow.

Ingredients

Back to why I bought it. If the ingredients list is accurate, then it’s a great product when looking solely at ingredients.

Value

It may be cheap, but I won’t be saving any money when I throw the rest of this in the bin.

Unfortunately I cannot return it because it is a food item. I sent an email to the company. I’ll edit the review if there is anything to report from that interaction.
