Im allergic to dairy and pea-based protein, so rice is my only option.
I first tried the vanilla flavor. Many reviews speak to the sweetness – which it is, but as someone with a sweet tooth, this doesn’t both me at all. In fact, mixing one serving into oat milk with a frother tastes like a milkshake! Im not going to complain about that.
I also tried the Unflavored option. This is good too – it doesn’t have a rice taste to it.
I did have a bit of tummy discomfort the first couple days but nothing noticable after that.
I cannot speak to the effectiveness for workouts as I’ve only been trying this for under a week and am just starting my fitness journey again. Based on my review of a few other rice protein powders om amazon, the protein content is comparable considering the serving size.
I have ended up using one scoop of the unflavored with 1 scoop of the vanilla flavor to find a happy balance in flavor. The texture does have powdery reminents so a shake of the bottle is needed before each sip – and if you are wearing something like lip gloss, the powder does stick to it.
The biggest con is the value for money – other options offer double or more product for comparable prices (not considering sale pricing). I’ll likely continue to purchase the vanilla flavor to mix in with the unflavored powder, but will be trialing other unflavored rice powder options purely for the value for money.

Tastes good and has 24 g of protein per serving. Only ick is that it is only available in such a small quantity. There should be an option to buy 2-3 lb containers.
Mixes well with water, smooth.
P.S. Small container = difficulty fitting hand in to reach the powder at the bottom.

I have SIBO and was looking for a protein powder that was clean and would be easy on my stomach. This is it! The container is small, but I appreciate the ingredients are clean and it doesn’t taste gritty. I use it in smoothies and the powder is tasteless. I would recommend this product.

We have used this product for many years and have never had a problem before! When we opened the container, we found that the inner seal had been punctured with quite a large hole. We were very unhappy to find it arrive in this condition and would like it replaced immediately! The product that we received cannot be used since we can’t be sure that it hasn’t been contaminated in some way.
