I’ve been buying this protein powder for years now. Mocha cappuccinos is my absolute favourite. It doesn’t taste like protein powder. It mixes well and doesn’t clump.

I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey for about two months now, and it’s genuinely one of the few supplements I can say I’m really happy with. The first thing that won me over is how effortlessly it mixes. Whether I shake it up in water, stir it into milk, or blend it into a smoothie, there are almost no clumps, no weird gritty bits, just smooth protein every time. That kind of reliability in texture is rare, and it makes taking it feel less like a chore and more like a treat.

Taste-wise, the Double Rich Chocolate flavour has become my go-to. It’s rich without being sickly sweet. There’s enough chocolate flavour that I enjoy it straight after workout, but it doesn’t dominate the drink or leave that chemical aftertaste that some powders do. For those days when I want something milder, mixing it with almond milk or adding a splash of cocoa powder gives it a satisfying twist.

Performance has been equally impressive. Since adding it to my post-gym routine, I’ve noticed my recovery times are better. My muscles ache less the next day, and I seem to maintain energy a bit more consistently through intense workouts. Also, the macros are solid, 24g protein per scoop, very low sugar and fat, so it helps me hit my goals without feeling like I’m sacrificing flavour or comfort.

If there’s anything to critique, it’s that it does contain artificial sweeteners, which bother some people. Also, in very sensitive stomachs, the whey concentrate portion may cause minor bloating if taken on an empty stomach. But for me, those downsides are very minor compared to everything this powder tends to excel at.

All in all, this has become a staple for my training days, mornings, and even baking recipes when I need a protein boost. If you want a reliable, tasty, mixable whey that actually seems to help, this is definitely one to grab.

Dicho esto, en cuanto al sabor, esta cosa es bastante buena con el agua. Podría atragantarme con malta de chocolate en agua, pero la masa del sabor bizcocho tiene un sabor químico horrible en el agua que puedo describir mejor como sabor a metal.
Esta proteína siempre se mezcla bien, está prácticamente garantizado. No sabes qué tan conveniente es hasta que obtienes una proteína que necesita 20 batidos fuertes para deshacerse de todos los grumos. Además, las cucharadas son realmente pequeñas para la misma cantidad de gramos de proteína que todos los demás. Odio tener que beber grandes cantidades de líquidos, hace que tomar proteínas sea horrible, eso indica que esta proteína siempre se mezcla bien, no es una molestia.

Usando una licuadora con doble chocolate rico, chocolate con leche extremo o moka.

-2 cucharadas de suero
-5 gramos de cacao en polvo sin azúcar
-12g chocolate pbfit
-3/4 taza sin azúcar con una leche de almendras batida con proteínas
-Hielo

Todavía le doy excelentes calificaciones al producto porque hace lo que se supone que debe hacer y puede encontrar Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard en casi cualquier lugar que venda suplementos.
