Günstig, optisch gut (sogar LED show wenn es angeschlossen ist 😉 ) An sonsten gute Sound-Qualität von Kppfhörern und Mikro. Absolut ausreichend für z.B. Teams-Meetings. Habe es nie zum zocken verwendet, aber wenn es bei Teams gut läuft liegen evtl. Probleme bei den Plattformen und nicht beim Gerät 🙂

real good sound and easy set up fr broo

I received the headset yesterday and it is a cut above the rest in terms of quality (especially for the price!). I noticed a 24mth warranty sticker on the front of the box if you register with them on their website eksa.net and email info@eksa.net where you send a copy of your Amazon invoice. I was pleasantly replied to by Shelley who was SUPER nice, and a pleasure to deal with. She registered my headset and even offered further assistance if needed, and was even interested in other feedback/suggestions for future products 😀 I gotta say this is a company I will *gladly* purchase from again not only because of their impressive product but because customer service like what Shelley provided me is EXACTLY what is important for me 😁👍 Setup is easy as pie (they even put instructions on the cable itself!) and note which ear is for which side by big L and R on the inside, and the animated RGB lighting is *EXTRA* cool!

*Update:

– Was a great headset until it started misbehaving. Still looks and works like new except mic.
– After 7 months, mic started randomly just shorting out and sending really loud feedback to whoever I’d be talking to.
– It has a 2 year warranty, so I contacted EKSA about it and provided my Amazon invoice. They did some basic troubleshooting, then sent me a replacement that arrived in about 4 days.

I have mixed feelings about this.

It was a 5 star while it lasted, but lasting only 7 months made it a 1 star. But the good customer service boosted it some. 3 stars?

Here’s to another 7 months.

My old headset was a Corsair Void Pro wireless that finally died after 7 years, and I was looking for a cheap headset that hopefully wouldn’t be too bad in comparison. My comparisons are going to be against my old headset as that’s my frame of reference.

After reading a ton of reviews, I tried several, and settled on this one.

For some reason the green headset is only $25 while the rest are $36, $43, and $45. Coupled with the 15% coupon available, I paid only $21.87 with tax. It’s an amazing deal for this headset, based on my experience so far.

The sound is clear and DOES have the surround sound element. Sound is comparable to my old Corsair–great for listening to music and also for playing Overwatch, hearing the direction the footsteps are coming from. (I am not an audiophile, so your mileage my vary. I AM a gamer, so you can trust me on the directional audio in FPS games.) Somewhat muffles outside noises.

The mic is alright. It’s similar to my old Corsair in that you can flip it up–but weirdly, it does NOT turn off when flipped up. It very outputs your voice clearly enough. My voice sounded almost the same to me as my old one when I recorded it on Audacity, but my friend says it’s got a tinny sound to it. But everything I say is clear, and this is with my speaking voice at low volume. Not sure about background cancellation–it IS a cheap mic so don’t expect too much.

It’s also a plus that the seller takes the time to educate you on why usb connections are better, and yes, it uses a usb connection.

The headset feel is decently comfortable, although it pinches my wide (?) head a little after I’ve worn it for longer than 2 hours. My ears hurt after wearing it for several hours. It IS new, though, so we’ll see if it loosens up after a bit. The build is similar to my old Corsair, although the cups do NOT swivel. The earpads are faux leather and do get warm–would have preferred the breathable cloth cushion type.

The cable is braided and feels sturdy. There is a volume wheel/ mic mute doodad halfway down the cable that keeps getting caught against the edge of my desk.

Caveat: The one down side is that I saw a couple of reviews talking about their headsets simply having a part fall off in a matter of months. They do offer a “2-year-protection plan” in the description. I am uncertain if this is the same as a replacement warranty. What exactly does their “protection plan” do in this context? I guess we’ll find out if this headset suddenly falls apart like those unfortunate souls’.
