Kids love putting this set together even the 2 year old with help. Once they figure out what it takes to make circuits they want to do it on their own and learn just as much when their project doesn’t work. The case makes the components easy to store and teaches the child organization. We did have to buy the 2nd set because the 7 year old thought too much of his to share with the 2 year old. The younger one absolutely loves the helicopter blade and already understands which way the batteries must go in. Well worth the investment and involves grandparents too.

The description of this product is misleading. It says that it is a combination of 2 kits, the light and sound and includes glow in the dark fan and fibre optic led elements. This is not correct. It has a light piece but not what is described.
The kit is good otherwise, my daughter enjoys creating the different circuits.

My son received this set for his eighth birthday. He and his 6 year old brother love playing with it! They have already done several experiments. I know this won’t be our last purchase of Snap Circuits, but this set is large enough to last for a while. I also love the way everything is organized in the case, with each slot marked with what is supposed to go there. This set also includes an excellent teacher’s manual which is teaching me all about electricity, so I can in turn teach my son! All in all, worth every penny!!
